About Gracie Barra Manotick.
More than a martial arts school. A welcoming Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai community for kids, families and adults in Manotick, Ontario.
Gracie Barra Manotick is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai academy in Manotick, Ontario, and part of the global Gracie Barra family. The idea at the heart of Gracie Barra is simple: the academy is more than a school, it is a family, and jiu-jitsu is for everyone. That is what we try to live out on the mats every week, for the shy kid, the busy parent and the adult who has never trained before.
A room built for people nervous to walk in.
Not everyone who walks through the door is an athlete. Most are not. They are parents signing up a nervous child, adults who have not trained in years, and complete beginners. This room is built for exactly those people, with no tough-guy energy and no being thrown in the deep end.
- No experience needed. Most members start with zero background, and every class has a beginner path.
- Kids from age three. Tiny Champions starts at age three, with kids classes running through age thirteen.
- Families welcome to watch. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their child train the whole time.
- Go at your own pace. You rest when you need to and add live training only when you are ready.
